- In light of Pastor Jerry Eze’s generous gesture, Media personality, Solomon Buchi has slammed Daddy Freeze for often criticizing clergymen.
- He queried Freeze about his own philanthropic moves.
- Buchi also defended Pastor Eze’s right to material blessings, citing his hard work in raising a prayer culture.
Life coach and writer, Solomon Buchi has taken to task media personality Daddy Freeze for his constant criticism of Pastor Jerry Eze and other clergymen.
Buchi’s reaction comes after Pastor Eze celebrated his 42nd birthday by building 18 houses for widows and providing N100 million in business grants to young people.
Taking to his X handle, Buchi questioned Daddy Freeze’s own philanthropic efforts, asking how many houses he has built for widows or how many grants he has given to young people.
He emphasized that life is more than just appearances and eloquence, suggesting that Freeze’s criticism of pastors is unfounded.
Buchi also defended Pastor Eze’s right to material blessings, stating that he has worked hard to raise a prayer culture and should be able to enjoy the fruits of his labor without guilt.
He criticized those who call Pastor Eze a fraudster, challenging them to lead people in prayer if it’s easy.
Furthermore, Buchi argued that pastors shouldn’t be driven by money, but if they’re blessed materially, they should enjoy it without guilt.
He emphasized that theological differences shouldn’t lead to criticism of everything.
Buchi concluded by stating that Pastor Eze’s philanthropic efforts are probably just the tip of the iceberg, as pastors often give without seeking public recognition.
He challenged Daddy Freeze to examine his own actions and questioned whether he has built anything or helped anyone.
In his words:
“I was quiet when Pastor Jerry Eze was bashed for allegedly making 8 billion Naira from the NSPPD platform on YouTube. The pejorative comments were just daft. How do you accumulate so much vile that you assume a man who has worked relentlessly deserves no material blessings? You’re just a witch.
Firstly, the whole headline that Pastor Jerry Eze made 9 billion Naira from YouTube was just a rumor, and rumors are easy to conjure up when people want to taint your name, because the majority of you do not think! But let’s assume it’s true he made 9 billion, so what?
This man has passionately toiled to raise a prayer culture. There were days he probably had nothing, but he should spit out the consequential benefits of hard work? The people who irk me more are those who call him a fraudster. Oya, go and lead people in prayer if it’s easy…..”
