On her Instagram story, she opened up on how she decided to try online dating, believing that as an adult, she has the right to search for love regardless of her celebrity status. However, her encounter with a potential match left her disappointed and frustrated.
After matching with a man she found attractive, Uriel stated that she was first put off by his bio, which described him as an “Agent of Chaos.”
She expressed her disappointment, stating that she has no interest in engaging with someone who seems to like trouble.
Uriel described her experience as frustrating, stating that some men do not help themselves when presenting themselves online. She jokingly suggested that “Netflix and chill” might be a better option than the dating app scene.
She wrote:
“So, I decided to give this dating app thing a try. I mean, I’m an adult. Celebrity or not, I fit find love too, abeg. Anyways, I dey swipe, minding my business, when I match with this fine guy. Cute face, nice smile. I say, “Okay o, we dey enter!” I check him profile sharp-sharp. Pictures? On point. I dey nod my head, “Yes o, we’re moving forward.” Everything dey go well: long-term relationship, loves travel, good food. I dey already daydream. Then boom-I see: “Agent of Chaos.” Ehn?! Wetin you talk? You dey find long-term love, but you dey call yourself Agent of Chaos? Omo, how you wan make I enter relationship with certified wahala ambassador? My guy, carry your drama go front, abeg! Honestly, some of these men no just dey help themselves. I don tire for this dating app life. Maybe Netflix and chill no bad pass.”
