Nollywood film actress Aolat Ayonimofe has shared a harrowing experience after being robbed by traffic thieves in Ogudu, Lagos.
The Yoruba movie star took to her Instagram page to recount the traumatic incident, which left her with a deep wound on her neck.
According to Aolat Ayonimofe, the attack occurred while she was stuck in traffic in the Ogudu area. The robbers forcibly took her expensive necklace, leaving visible bruises on her neck.
The film actress cum businesswoman expressed her dismay that bystanders witnessed the crime but were unable to intervene.
In her post, Ayonimofe shared her gratitude for escaping the situation with only minor injuries.
She also took the opportunity to warn the public to stay vigilant and prioritize their safety. Aolat Ayonimofe wrote:
“I was robbed right now. Inside traffic along Ogudu. They went away with my expensive necklace. Bruises around my neck. And people were there watching the ugly incident,”
“My neck wound is deep though. Please be safe out there. Thank God it is not much more than this.”

Meanwhile in May, Aolat Ayonimofe expressed joy after she and her children escaped a close shave with death.
The actress took to her official account on the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram to share details.
Expressing gratitude for safety, Aolat Ayonimofe said a car had rammed into her shop, clearing out a part of where she, her staff and kids usually seat.
