Mohbad’s family seeks more witnesses on singer’s death

Mohbad's Family Seeks Additional Witnesses and Information in Ongoing Investigation

The family of the late singer, Mohbad is seeking further assistance in the ongoing investigation into his death.

They are urging individuals with relevant information to come forward and share it with authorities.

The family’s legal team in a recent statement has expressed concerns over sensitive information being shared publicly, rather than with the authorities.

In the statement, Monisola Esther, a member of the legal team, highlighted the importance of sharing information with the Police and the Coroner’s Court, rather than on the internet.

The team is seeking witnesses and relevant details to aid in the investigation and uncover the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.

The family’s primary focus is on understanding the events leading to Mohbad’s untimely demise, rather than pursuing personal relationships.

The family’s legal team encourages anyone with information to reach out and assist in the fact-finding mission of the Coroner’s Court.

The statement read:

Given the nature of the death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba and the information being released to the public space which ordinarily should have been given to the Police, the Aloba Family’s Legal Team wishes to advise that anyone with useful and relevant information that could aid in the search for and the circumstances leading to the singer’s death should reach out to the Legal Team to facilitate proper legal connectivity.

“Also, the Police can be contacted to ensure the protection of the witnesses and suspects. Additionally, the coroner’s inquest has issued witness summonses for those relevant to its investigation.

“Please, note that Joseph Aloba does not seek to pursue any personal relationships at this point. His interest is focused on finding out the details of what happened to his dear son and the circumstances that led to his untimely demise.

“The Coroner’s Court is the best forum to disclose any information that could assist in the fact finding mission of the court.”
