Actors pray for TG Omori after failed kidney transplant


Actors, Deyemi Okanlawon Kunle Afolayan and Femi Branch have joined in prayers for music video director TG Omori following the news that his kidney transplant was unsuccessful.

Recall that Omori on Tuesday, revealed on his X account that his brother donated a kidney in an effort to help alleviate his kidney-related ailment.

However, in an update on Wednesday, the cinematographer disclosed that the transplant had failed and asked his followers for prayers. TG Omori wrote:

“One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed this transplant at St. Nicolas Hospital Lagos. Pray for me.”

The news prompted an outpouring of support from fans and celebrities alike.

Blogger Tunde Ednut shared a post on Omori on his page which quickly garnered responses from well known actors like Kunle Afolayan, Femi Branch, Deyemi Okanlawon, Nasboi, Charles Okocha, and Solomon Buchi.

Kunle Afolayan offered his support, writing, “May the Almighty God heal you and restore your body and soul completely.”

Deyemi Okanlawon echoed the sentiment, saying, “God heal you and your brother completely.”

Tunde Ednut commented, “Wow! Get well soon, Director TG Omori.”

Skit maker Nasboi expressed his sorrow, writing, “My heart is so broken. God, please keep him.”

Femi Branch added, “Divine health is your portion, bro. You will not die but live to declare God’s goodness. Sending love and light.”

In other news, Dammy Krane has made an apology over allegations surrounding Tagbo, Davido’s friend’s death.

The singer who earlier accused the DMW boss of being responsible for the death of Tagbo was arrested last week for defamation after he refused to retract his claims.

Dammy Krane was released hours ago and could be seen calling Davido his brother.
