- Mohbad’s wife’s sister, Karimot Adebayo accuses her sibling, Wunmi, of abusing her mother-in-law.
- In a video, Karimot claims Wunmi physically and emotionally mistreated Mohbad’s mother, forcing her to beg profusely before she could get favours from her son.
- She also alleged an occasion when Wunmi beat up Mohbad’s mom.
The contentious relationship between Wunmi, the widow of late singer Mohbad, and her sister, Karimot Adebayo, continues to escalate.
In a new video, Karimot is seen levelling serious allegations against Wunmi, claiming she mistreated Mohbad’s mother.
According to Karimot, Wunmi would physically and emotionally abuse her mother-in-law, preventing her from receiving favours from Mohbad. Karimot also alleged that Mohbad’s mother was forced to kneel and beg Wunmi before she could receive anything from her son and that Wunmi boasted about controlling Mohbad’s actions.
Karimot questioned why actress Iyabo Ojo had not intervened to protect Mohbad’s mother from Wunmi’s alleged abuse.
She said:
“Wunmi When Mohbad was alive, his mum had to kneel down and beg you to let her find favour in her son’s eyes. You boasted to her that it was whatever you tell moh that moh will do. You showed that woman pepper. You were always curs!ng Adura whenever he drank ordinary pure water. Iya Moh reported everything to me in your presence and I was mad. If you push me, I will tell the world the two things she said to you. When Moh was still alive, Iya Tunde(Wunmi’s aunt)who was there to do omugwo said she would beat Moh’s mum up. I also heard it this afternoon when your team said Iya Moh must publicly kneel down and beg you for her outburst days ago. Iyabo Ojo you can’t see this one right? What is the ministry of women affairs doing to protect this woman?”

This however is not the first time Karimot has spoken out against Wunmi. She once accused her of having a hand in Mohbad’s death.
