Afrobeats singer, Adedamola Oyinlola Adefolahan, known professionally as Fireboy DML has announced that he’s working on a joint Extended Play (EP) with his colleague, Lekan Osifeso Jnr., popularly known as Lojay.
Fireboy made this known during an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos. In the “Friday Feeling” crooner’s words:
“I’m working on a joint EP with Lojay. We have a very great relationship in the studio.”
Fireboy, who recently released his eponymous fourth studio album, ‘Adedamola’, relished working with veteran Nigerian afrobeat musician, singer-songwriter and percussionist, Bisade Ologunde professionally known as Lagbaja, on the song ‘Back N Forth’.
Fireboy said:
“Lagbaja is the most meticulous artiste I ever worked with. I wished he had taken his mask off but he wore it all through our time in the studio. I learnt a lot from him during the session.”
In other news, Media personality, skit maker, content creator and comedian Gloria Olorunto, better known as Maraji, has revealed that she and her family were involved in a car accident.
Maraji gratefully recounted how she and her family miraculously survived a car crash.
The skit maker who had been away from social media for almost 3 months put her fans out of their misery when she returned on August 31st evening.
Maraji said the car accident made her appreciate life more and it prompted her stay off social media.
She narrated in a YouTube video that the crash happened on a day they were all returning from a church service.
Maraji added that the family vehicle they rode in “spun severally before ending in a ditch”.
