- In a post-eviction interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Mickey confessed that he lied to his colleagues about his age
- He explained that he lied because Ozee was locking down on him because of his age.
Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Fabammi “Mickey” Michael has shared his experience on the show.
In an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Mickey revealed that he had misrepresented his age to his fellow housemates, claiming to be 28 years old when he is actually 24.
He explained that his reason for lying about his age was to avoid being targeted by Ozee, who frequently brought up age in conversations.
Mickey stated that he felt that Ozee’s comments were condescending and wanted to avoid being perceived as younger.
He said:
“I’m 24 years old. I lied to Ozee that I’m 28 because of the kind of person he is. He likes to bring age into every conversation.
“There was a time he told me that he was in Nigeria before I was born, I was upset.
“That was why when he and Fairme were arguing, I asked Fairme to ignore him and go upstairs because Ozee will never accept defeat.”
Mickey also apologized for his behavior towards Wanni, acknowledging that he had misjudged her personality.
“I wouldn’t lie it took me a long time to understand that Wanni actually has a soft heart. Apologies for that. Wanni is a very very soft girl,” he said.
Recall that while in the house, Mickey had vowed to force Wanni, Handi to take voluntary exit.
During a diary session with Biggie, he stated his intention to address their actions, which he believes are negatively impacting other housemates.
Mickey alleged that Wanni and Handi are engaging in behavior that could be perceived as bullying, and that they may be assuming dominance over others due to a past incident involving Rhuthee.
He clarified that he does not view them as competition, but rather aims to create a more comfortable living environment for all housemates.
