D’banj hops on Lagos train, BRT bus as he thrills commuters with special performance, gives gifts (Video)

D'banj had special moments with commuters after boarding a BRT bus and train in Lagos.


Veteran singer, D’banj recently decided to hop on public transport in Lagos.

The renowned artist, fresh from the release of his latest project, ‘The Entertainer,‘ brought excitement to commuters as he boarded the bus and train, blending in with the crowd.

Coinciding with the first anniversary of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line, D’banj’s journey was a testament to the city’s growing infrastructure and his willingness to connect with his fans in a unique way.

As he traveled from the Leventis bus stop to the Marina train station, and then on to the National Theatre station, he was met with enthusiasm and admiration from fellow passengers.

In a heartwarming display of generosity, D’banj offered to cover the transportation costs of those who rode with him, crediting their Cowry Cards with the fare amount.

A clip showed him dancing with an elderly woman while other passengers sang a track from his new album.
