Renowned Ghanaian actress Grace Omaboe, popularly known as Maame Dokono, recently shared her thoughts on leaving a lasting legacy.
In a conversation with Blakk Rasta on 3FM’s Urban Blend show, she mentioned her interest in having a statue built in her honor.
Maame Dokono believes that a statue would serve as a reminder of her contributions to the industry and inspire future generations.
She emphasized that she is not demanding such recognition but would appreciate it if it were to happen.
“Yes! I think there should be my statue there for my legacy to be in the minds of the little ones who are coming because I am even in their books.”
“If something like that could be erected in my honor, it will be a nice thing. I am not forcing anybody to do it but if it is done, fine.” She stated
