Moment Mohbad’s dad shuns late singer’s mom’s greeting at court premises -VIDEO

Mohbad's father, Joseph Aloba ignored the late singer's mom's greeting at the court premises.

A dramatic encounter between Joseph Aloba, the father of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, and his estranged wife, Abosede, has sparked intense reactions online.

The incident occurred outside the courtroom where a coroner’s inquest was scheduled to be held to investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s tragic death.

In a video capturing the moment, Joseph Aloba, the father of Mohbad publicly ignored Abosede (Mohbad’s mom), who was seen kneeling down in an apparent attempt to reconcile. However, Mr Aloba refused to acknowledge her, fueling speculation about the state of their relationship and the ongoing family feud.

Mohbad’s death on September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances, has left fans and family members seeking answers. The singer, formerly signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Music, was buried in his hometown of Ikorodu less than 24 hours after his passing, only to be exhumed for a post-mortem examination.

The investigation into Mohbad’s death has been marred by disputes within the family, with his mother initially supporting his wife, Wunmi, against criticism from Joseph and others. However, she later made a U-turn, accusing Wunmi of possessing Mohbad’s properties and laying curses on her.

Abosede’s attempt to reconcile with Joseph appears to have been rebuffed, suggesting a deep-seated rift within the family.
