There is a certain kind of pain that can’t be put into words—a kind that sinks into the soul and refuses to let go. To endure the weight of 15 pregnancies lost to the void, to carry the burden of 14 loves that promised forever but shattered into pieces, leaving only fragments of what could have been, is to know heartbreak in its most devastating form. Lara Kudayisi didn't just survive these moments; she was reborn through the wreckage of her choices, wearing the scars like armor

In an explosive tell-all interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast, she unapologetically confessed to having aborted 15 pregnancies and suffering through 14 soul-shattering heartbreaks—a revelation that left Nigerians reeling and the internet ablaze.

The uproar started when a snippet of her jaw-dropping interview began circulating online. Kudayisi didn’t hold back as she revealed how crippling low self-esteem drove her into a whirlwind of bad decisions—becoming a mother at 19, enduring heartbreak after heartbreak, and enduring the trauma of 15 abortions.

She said: “I had a child at 19, 14 heartbreaks and 15 abortions. I could not even say no to sex, it was that bad. Low self-esteem can make you do crazy things. Na im belle enter, doctor just say ‘I can see the head of the baby’ my mom just fainted.

Every divorcee has the tendency to divorce again.”

Kudayisi didn’t stop there. When probed about her first divorce, she dropped yet another bombshell—revealing that financial struggles were the breaking point in her marriage. She candidly admitted to walking away from her husband because of money issues.

“No money. I was the man. He was the woman. Nedu, I was never ever connected emotionally, physically, anything to this man. I was the one who made the decisions, I was the leader, I was the man…”, She continued.
