Media personality Daddy Freeze has weighed in on a recent altercation involving singer Portable, who slapped a preacher outside his bar in Sango Ota, Ogun State.
The incident was captured and shared on his Instagram Live, where Portable confronted the man who appeared to be holding a Bible.
The singer could be seen in the video, harassing the preacher, questioning the man’s presence and accusing him of disturbing his clients.
However, Many online users condemned the singer’s actions, labeling it as assault.
Daddy Freeze in reaction, also condemned Portable’s violent behavior while also suggesting that the pastor may have overstepped his boundaries.
Freeze highlighted the importance of respecting people’s’ spaces and proposed that if the pastor wanted to preach in the bar, he should have first engaged with the boys by buying them drinks.
He said:
“I no support Portale whozing pastor O, i have zero tolerance for violence. But these pastors dey overdo. Why you go dey make noise for person bar? If you wan preach for Bar buy drinks for boys first.”
Portable had earlier ordered his boys to beat up a car dealer over failed vehicle delivery .
The incident unfolded during an IG live session, where Portable repeatedly demanded to know the whereabouts of his car, which was shipped from the US two months ago.
The car dealer, visibly distressed and seated on the floor, attempted to explain the delay, but Portable was having none of it. He unleashed a torrent of verbal abuse, threatening to mess the dealer’s life up and accusing him of scam. Portable’s frustration stemmed from the dealer’s alleged failure to deliver the vehicle, despite promises to do so.
