Daniel Regha descends on Mercy Johnson over APC campaign in Edo

Daniel Regha faults Mercy Johnson for campaigning for APC

Controversial social media commentator and influencer, Daniel Regha reacts to the viral video of renowned Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson campaigning for the APC gubernatorial candidate in Edo State, Monday Okpebholo.

Recall that the widely celebrated actress left a lot of Nigerians disappointed and subsequently triggered backlashes after a video showed her urging indigenes of Edo State to throw their weight behind Monday Okpebholo.

Reacting to this, Daniel Regha vented his resentment stating that celebrities like such succeed with their agenda mainly because many Nigerians listen to public figures while doing away with their ability to reason.

Daniel Regha further challenged Mercy Johnson’s statement during the campaign where she asked the public if they weren’t tired of suffering. He averred that the statement came from someone who can barely relate to the struggles of the common man.

In his words:

“Mercy Johnson is doing what many celebs have done in the past, & will continue to do; And it’s working, why? Cos many Nigerians rather listen to public figures than think for themselves. Imagine her saying “Una never taya”, coming from someone who can barely relate to the struggles of the common man today, it’s insulting to say the least.”
