I’m a pastor – Portable declares amid backlash for attacking preacher

Portable reacts to criticism trailing his encounter with a preacher

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has caused a stir once again, declaring himself a pastor who receives and shares messages from God.

The self-proclaimed “Zazoo Zehh” crooner made the bold statement in a video shared on social media, shortly after footage of him physically assaulting a pastor who was preaching at his bar went viral.

In the video, Portable, dressed in a white celestial outfit, addressed the situation, saying:

“I’m a pastor. When I speak, God speaks. I have never disrespected any pastor. If he were one, God would have told me.”

The incident involving the assaulted pastor has caused outrage online, with many Nigerians condemning Portable’s behavior.

The pastor, visibly angered by the assault, described the singer’s actions as “disrespectful and uncouth,” warning that Portable would soon face consequences for his behavior.

The online backlash against the singer has been swift, with many criticizing him for attacking a man of God.

However, Portable remains defiant, insisting that he holds pastors in high regard and claiming that his connection to God guides his actions.

Meanwhile, Nigerian gospel singer Testimony Jaga has joined the growing voices from within Christendom who have reacted to the video of Portable slapping a preacher.

Testimony Jaga slammed Portable for slapping the pastor who went to Zazu’s bar to preach the gospel.

The gospel singer gave Portable a three-day ultimatum to make amends.

Testimony Jaga vowed to deal with Portable if the singer didn’t make amends and apologise to the pastor he slapped.
