- Maiduguri has recently been battered by relentless floods that have wreaked havoc across the state, drawing a compassionate response from a host of influential figures, including President Tinubu and activist Verydarkman.
- In this climate of urgency, Paul Enenche and his wife have emerged as the latest supporters, arriving not just to lend a hand but to immerse themselves in the plight of those affected.
Dr. Paul Enenche, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja, and his wife, Becky, made a significant visit to Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, on Monday, stepping up to provide much-needed support for victims of the devastating flood disaster.
As they touched down in the state, a warm welcome, captured in video, awaited them, highlighted by a reception from the State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, who lauded their unwavering commitment to humanitarian efforts.
During their impactful visit, the Enenches didn’t just stop to express their sympathy; they actively engaged with the displaced individuals at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp. Their mission was clear: to infuse hope and encouragement into the lives of those affected by the floods.
With a heart full of compassion, they donated essential relief materials to alleviate the suffering of the victims and offered medical services, drawing on their expertise as trained medical doctors.
Taking to his social media platform, Eneche wrote:
“Still in Maiduguri. We are here on a goodwill and solidarity visit to the good people of the land following the flood incidence of the last six days.
“First received at the airport by the deputy Governor, Umar Usman Kadafur. Then stop at the Government House with the Executive Governor, Borno State; His Excellency Professor Babagana Umara Zulum and the Deputy Governor, Borno state; His Excellency Hon. Umar Usman Kadafur with the Special Assistant on Protocol to the Governor. Second stop at the Dunamis Church. Third stop IDP camp”
