Lanre Teriba, Prophet Dele Ogundipe reconcile in new clip after their explosive beef over Rev. Esther Ajayi

It’s a powerful reminder that even in the face of conflict, the bonds of friendship can triumph, proving that love and understanding can mend even the deepest rifts.

Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe, the charismatic leader of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Genesis Global Parish, and renowned Nigerian gospel artist Lanre Teriba, better known as Atorise, have finally put an end to their bitter feud rooted in their contentious conflict over Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi, the influential General Overseer of The Love of Christ Generation Church.

Flashback to September 2020, when Ogundipe faced a serious legal battle that saw him sentenced to jail for defrauding a London-based architect and unlawfully converting her property for personal gain.

Convicted on two out of seven charges, he received a one-year prison sentence for each count. Fortunately for him, he was later granted bail due to health concerns raised by his counsel.

During this tumultuous time, Ogundipe felt neglected, claiming that Reverend Ajayi turned her back on him and his family, including his wife, children, and even his mother.

In a show of loyalty, Atorise fiercely defended Mama Ajayi, rebuking Ogundipe’s accusations and highlighting her kindness in offering prayers during the Prophet’s darkest days.

This clash of loyalties turned them from childhood friends into bitter enemies, as the fallout from their dispute echoed throughout the gospel music community.

However, the tides have turned, and the two have finally reconciled, much to the joy of their fans. The breakthrough came during a tribute night held in honor of the late gospel musician Dele Gold, who tragically passed away on September 11 after a brief illness.

At this heartfelt event, both Ogundipe and Atorise found themselves in the same room, and the atmosphere was charged with emotion.

In a touching new video, Lanre Teriba is seen performing with palpable joy, singing about the newfound peace between him and his longtime friend, Prophet Ogundipe.

Their warm reunion, marked by a heartfelt side hug, symbolized the healing of old wounds.

Atorise’s inquiry about Ogundipe’s children, who joined them on stage, melted hearts all around, capturing the spirit of forgiveness and the importance of camaraderie.
