Adunni Ade reacts to dispatch driver’s legal action threat, dares him to follow through

Dispatch rider threatens legal action against Adunni Ade, actress claps back

Actress and filmmaker Adunni Ade has addressed a cab driver, Francis Njoku, who threatened to take legal action against her following a package delivery dispute.

The controversy began when Adunni took to Instagram, accusing Njoku of stealing her package and ignoring her calls on Wednesday.

She publicly called him out urging her followers to contact him and criticized the ride-sharing service InDrive for its handling of the situation.

Her post led to an outcry from her fans, who demanded accountability from InDrive.

In response, the platform suspended Njoku’s profile and the package was eventually delivered later that night.

However, Njoku soon fired back, accusing Adunni of damaging his reputation.

In a statement share by Adunni on Thursday, Njoku insisted that her allegations had tarnished his image. He said;

“You have made a mess of my reputation, and I have reached out to my legal team. We will see you in court. You are not the one who requested the ride.

“Many human rights activists and lawyers have contacted me, and I will not let this slide. You must issue an unreserved apology and ensure Instablog removes the post.”

In her defense, Adunni posted screenshots of her interactions with both Njoku and her fashion designer, maintaining her innocence and reiterating her commitment to honesty.

Adunni detailed her communication with Njoku, noting that she had provided an access code for the delivery and followed up with calls when the package was not delivered as expected.

According to her, Njoku hung up on her and later claimed that the sender had input the wrong address.

This led to a heated exchange, where Njoku allegedly made rude remarks and sarcastically told her to come collect the package herself.

Screenshots shared by Adunni revealed conversations between the designer, Njoku, and the designer’s sister, further highlighting the confusion over the delivery address and Njoku’s demand for an additional fee to complete the delivery. Adunni stated:

“In all my years of using delivery services, I have never encountered someone as rude, uncivilised, and arrogant as Francis Njoku.”

In another post, Adunni welcomed Njoku’s lawsuit. She wrote in part:

“Francis Njoku, I am about that life! I want all the smoke. I wait on your human rights activists’ letter or Lawsuit!”
