- While sharing an old photo to back his claim, he beckoned on netizens to help facilitate a reunion between his mom and Adesua Etomi’s mum.
- The reunion happened and he took to social media to share some adorable photos.
An X (formerly Twitter) user identified as @ayo_management recently shared a heartwarming discovery that has captured the attention of many.
In a viral tweet, he revealed that popular Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi-Wellington was his mother’s little bride during her wedding in 1990.
The user expressed his surprise and excitement upon making the discovery.
He shared an old photo from his mother’s wedding day, where a much younger Adesua was seen standing beside the bride, dressed as the little bride.
He went on to recount how nice Adesua’s mother was to his mom as she was even the one who provided her with the wedding gown she wore on the wedding day.
He wrote:
Just found out today that @AdesuaEtomiW was my Mum’s little bride. Back story to this, my mum served in Owerri, Adesuwa dad was a Major at 32 Artillery Division Obinze-Owerri then.
And that wedding gown my mum wore was given by Adesua etomi’s mum.
She was really lovely and accommodating to corps members especially Yorubas because she was Yoruba as well. Small world truly. Picture was taken November 10, 1990.”
The X user further aired his mom’s desire to meet with Adesua’s mom and fortunately, this happened.
“My mum wishes to meet the family once again if possible. So if you know Adesuaetomi personally, help relay the message,” he wrote.
He subsequently took to his handle to share photos of his mom and Adesua’s mom following their link-up.
“Thank you Twitter, my mum and Aunty @AdesuaEtomiW mum eventually met after several years thanks to this post. Twitter keeps doing wonders!”
