BBNaija S9: I thought I’d be evicted before Shaun – Victoria

Victoria Reflects on Shaun's Eviction

Big Brother Naija housemate Victoria has shared her thoughts on the unexpected eviction of her former partner Shaun.

She expressed shock, having anticipated her own eviction before Shaun’s due to his more active presence in the house.

In a conversation with Kassia, Victoria shared her assumption that if one of them were to leave, it would have been her, given Shaun’s more prominent role in the house.

She also shared her appreciation for Shaun’s support and companionship, even when they weren’t constantly communicating.

Victoria said:

“I was not expecting Shaun to leave at all. I always thought that if they wanted to evict between the two of us, it would be me because he is more active.

“Today, I was still telling Shaun that he’s not going anywhere. Even if we don’t talk every day, I know that the person I came with is still here. And sometimes, when I have something bothering me, I can still go to him to talk about it.”

Victoria and Shaun entered the house as the Shatoria pair, working together as a team before the housemates were unpaired by Biggie.

During Shaun’s stay in the house, he had voiced frustration over Victoria’s lack of communication.

The tension between the pair was brought to the forefront during Sunday’s live show, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

During the broadcast, Obi-Uchendu questioned Victoria about the apparent strain in her relationship with Shaun.

Do you think it’s weird that your relationship with your partner, Shaun, is off?,” Obi-Uchendu asked.

In response Victoria said: “I don’t think so. He has his friends, and I don’t want to come in between.”

Following the show, Shaun and Victoria had a conversation where Shaun voiced his grievances about Victoria’s communication habits.

“I can’t force you to talk; I can’t force you to communicate with other people; I can’t force you to call me when you have any issues. I came to this world by myself, so I can’t do that,” Shaun said.
