Tragedy struck the Nigerian music scene as famous Islamic singer, Rukayat Gawat Oyefeso, passed on.
News of Oyefeso’s untimely demise was announced by renowned Ilorin-based cleric, Alfa Aribidesi At-Tawdeeh, on his official Facebook page.
His sad news conveyed the depth of this loss:
“Our Sympathy goes to the family of Ruqayat Gawat for this great lost! 😭😭😭😭😭 May Allah forgive her shortcomings! RUQAYAT GAWAT IS GONE!”
