Japa: Banky W moves to U.S. with family, gives reason for relocation

Veteran artiste, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W has relocated to the United States with his family.

The ‘made for you’ crooner announced his family’s change of country of residence in a post on his official Instagram page.

In the post on Tuesday, the singer disclosed that he left the shores of Nigeria with his family to achieve the purpose of his life.

He wrote: “For family. For faith. For finding purpose. For the next year of earning a Masters degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington DC”

Reacting to a post on Instagram, his wife, Adesua stated: “Home is wherever you are.”

The rapper had earlier in July announced his enrolment in Policy Management at Georgetown University.

The couple got married in South Africa in 2017 – and welcomed their child, Hazaiah in 2021.

Recall that the multiple award-winning artiste also ventured into politics, becoming the flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023 for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency, however, he lost to Labour Party’s Thaddeus Attah.
