Actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has paid an emotional tribute to her mother three years after the latter’s death.
On Monday, September 23, Nkechi Blessing shared a video montage of her late mother on her official page on the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram expressing how deeply she is missed.
Reflecting on the emotional milestone, Nkechi Blessing recalled how her mother passed on at 12 noon three years ago but the pain remains fresh in her memory. In her words:
“Three whole years without you, mummy, and it still feels incredibly hard. It was today, exactly at 12 pm, that you left this world. I miss you every single day, AFIANMA. 💔”
“Just like I never let you suffer or stress while you were alive, I will carry your memory with me for the rest of my life. Rest peacefully in the bosom of the Almighty, Mummy. I love you forever, until we meet again.”
Nkechi Blessing also revealed she will be handling out foodstuffs to people in Ikeja in honor of her late mother’s memory. She encouraged her followers to honour her mother’s memory by saying, “If you see me around Ikeja, just ask for a box of goodness and offer a prayer for my sweet mother.”
Her mother, Mrs. Gloria Sunday passed away on September 23, 2021 and was laid to rest on October 17 of the same year.
The announcement of her death was made by fellow actress cum filmmaker, Toyin Abraham.
