- Verydarkman has hit back hard at the EFCC’s invitation following his scorching accusations against the anti-graft agency regarding Bobrisky.
- Making his stance crystal clear, he declared that the EFCC would have to meet his demands before he even thinks about showing up.
- With unwavering confidence, he laid out his non-negotiable conditions, ensuring they know he won’t be dragged in without getting his way.
Nigerian social media firebrand, Martins Otse, a.k.a VeryDarkMan, has laid out bold demands to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after they summoned both him and crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, to their Lagos office.
This development follows the circulation of a viral video in which Bobrisky allegedly revealed that certain unnamed EFCC officers had pocketed a whopping N15 million in exchange for dropping money laundering charges against him.
In swift reaction, EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede issued a public statement on Tuesday evening, ordering an immediate probe into the allegations. He also extended formal invitations to both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan, summoning them to the EFCC office in Lagos for questioning.
But VeryDarkMan, never one to back down or stay silent, wasted no time in firing back. In a defiant new video posted on his social media page, he expressed deep mistrust of the EFCC, stating bluntly that he has no intention of honoring the invitation due to fears of being set up.
He highlighted discrepancies in the commission’s statement, questioning the legitimacy of their actions and openly wondering why, as someone who isn’t a suspect, he should be summoned to Lagos when the EFCC headquarters is based in Abuja, where he resides.
The activist didn’t stop there. VeryDarkMan made it clear that if he were to even consider their request, the EFCC would need to roll out the red carpet.
VDM boldly declared that they must treat him as a royal key informant, laying down his list of high-end demands.
Among his conditions: a first-class flight to Lagos, full security detail, and a stay in a five-star hotel—making it evident that if the EFCC wants to speak with him, they’ll have to meet his premium standards.
