Gospel singer Peterson Okopi ties the knot with lover, Prudent, 2months after engagement

Gospel singer Peterson Okopi has tied the knot with his partner, Prudent Gabriel adding to the growing list of gospel artistes who have gotten married this year.

Peterson shared a video in a collaborative post on Thursday, September 27 on Instagram, revealing the couple in their wedding attire.

The video showcased various moments from the ceremony, including a close-up of their wedding rings.

Peterson wore a brown suit paired with matching brown shoes, while Prudent looked stunning in a white wedding gown that elegantly highlighted her figure, complemented by silver earrings.

The gospel artiste expressed his joy in the caption of the post stating:

“I’m beyond blessed to call you my OWN and start this beautiful journey together. Here’s to forever, my love! 💍❤️.”

Earlier, Prudent posted photos of herself in a wedding dress holding a bouquet, with the caption:

“Today, I married my best friend and the absolute love of my life legally. 💍❤️ 🔒 @okopi_peterson.”

The couple announced their engagement on July 1 on their Instagram accounts with pictures and videos.

In the first post, Peterson Okopi shared pictures of himself with a beautifully lit sign behind him reading, “Will you marry me?”

He captioned the post, “IN THE BEGINNING ……….. Happy new month family.”

In another post, a video this time, Peterson is seen smiling as he reveals the engagement ring still in its box.

The video also shows the Osuba singer holding a flower, mouthing the sentence “She said yes,” and holding the hands of his fiancée.

His fiancée, Prudent also shared a post of herself on Instagram with the flowers while flaunting her engagement ring.

With this union, Peterson joins other gospel singers who have wed this year, including Moses Bliss who had his traditional wedding with his Ghanaian lover, Marie Wiseborn Agyare, on February 29.

Minister Theophilus Sunday married his Jamaican lover Ashlee White on April 11.

Also, Neon Adejo wed his partner Lade Kehinde on April 29.

Peterson is signed to TWC Records based in Lagos.
