The Port Harcourt-born singer acknowledged Davido’s significant contribution to Afrobeats’ global popularity, hailing him as a legend and one of the biggest stars in the industry.

“Actually we have a song and it’s coming out soon. I am very excited about the record because it’s something I never imagined would be this great and cool.

“The way we got along and made the record is so cool, and Davido is also an amazing person.

“Davido is a legend. He is big big,” Omah Lay said.
