(VIDEO): VeryDarkMan addresses Reps, reveals how he got Bobrisky’s ‘audio recordings’

He had earlier declined to address the house of representative members while citing Bobrisky's absence.

Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, revealed the source of a contentious audio recording of Bobrisky, a popular crossdresser, during a House of Representatives panel investigation.

The panel is probing bribery allegations against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

On Monday, VeryDarkMan appeared before the panel, which includes officials from EFCC and NCoS, to investigate allegations of bribery and corruption.

Initially, VeryDarkMan refused to speak, citing Bobrisky’s absence, despite being invited. Lawmakers, however, compelled him to address the committee.

After initially resisting, VeryDarkMan explained the audio recording’s authenticity, stating it came from someone Bobrisky owed money to.

He alleged that Bobrisky paid ₦15 million to drop money laundering charges and additional millions for preferential prison treatment.

Bobrisky denied these allegations, prompting EFCC and NCoS investigations.

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) urged the Attorney General and National Security Adviser to conduct an independent investigation into these allegations.
