Social media activist Martins Otse, popularly known known as VeryDarkMan, has publicly apologized to renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana, SAN, following controversial remarks he made about him.

The apology came during VeryDarkMan’s appearance before the House of Representatives Joint Committee on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions on Monday.

The activsit faced backlash after insinuating Falana’s involvement in bribery allegations put forth by crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky.

During his testimony, VeryDarkMan expressed his disbelief over the claims and distanced Falana from the accusations.

Apparently now, some people are taking advantage of what is going to target Femi Falana,” VeryDarkMan said.

“Here, I apologise. It’s so sad that his name was inside that audio. I couldn’t believe it as well; that is the part that irritated me more, which I said I refuse to believe that he is a party to something like that.”

In similar news, Popular social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has denied allegations of defaming Femi Falana, father of Nigerian rapper Falz.

The controversy began when Falz issued a 24-hour ultimatum to VDM, demanding the removal of all defamatory statements made about his father.

In defense of VDM, his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, released a statement emphasizing that VDM respects Femi Falana, a prominent Senior Advocate of Nigeria and human rights activist.
