BBNaija S9: It was difficult withholding myself from touching my husband — Kassia
  • Kassia said not touching her husband in the house was difficult because one of her love languages is physical touch.
  • She said her friendship with Victoria helped her cope without being physical with her husband.

Former Big Brother Naija season 9 housemate, Kassia has shared her struggles with refraining from physical touch with her husband Kellyrae while in the house.

Recall that the couple chose to keep their marriage a secret from their fellow housemates as a strategic move.

In a recent post-eviction interview with Pulse, Kassia revealed that it was difficult for her to withhold touching her husband, as it is one of her primary love languages.

However, she credited her friendship with Victoria as a source of comfort and support, which helped her cope with the restriction.

Kassia said:

“It [withholding myself from being physical with my husband] was difficult because one of my love languages is physical touch. And I was restricted from doing all of that,” she said.

“But Victoria actually helped me. You all saw the way I was always hugging her. She was my comfort zone.”

In another interview, Kassia opened up on how her family feel about management’s decision to favour my husband over me

Kassia stated that her family is not happy about her management’s decision to favour her husband, Kellyrae, over her.

The couple, known as DoubleKay, had one management going into the house, but after Biggie unpaired the housemates, forcing them to compete solely, their management backed Kellyrae to progress on the show ahead of Kassia.

The management announced the decision to DoubleKay fans after Kellyrae said he prefers he wins the N100 million grand prize of the show ahead of his wife, Kassia. He also gave his reason for saying so in a viral video.

Consequently, fans concentrated on voting more for Kellyrae which led to the eviction of Kassia from the show on Sunday while her husband progressed to the final.

In a post-eviction interview with Naija FM, Lagos, Kassia said the management’s decision was the best, but added that her family isn’t happy about the decision to favour her husband over her.

The host asked: “How do you feel about your management taking you out of the show for your husband [Kellyrae] to continue the show?”

Kassia replied: “I feel it’s the best decision, even though my family is not happy about it, but I’m cool with it.”
