Verydarkman, in new video, can’t fathom Reno Omokri’s sudden alliance with Tinubu

The fallout from this link-up is bound to resonate for a long time. As Verydarkman’s critique continues to spread, the questions it raises about Reno’s true motives will linger: Did Reno ever truly believe in his harsh words against Tinubu, or was it all just political theater?

Nigerian social media crusader, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman, has unleashed a ferocious tirade against Reno Omokri, a staunch supporter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

Reno had built a reputation as a fierce opponent of Tinubu’s political journey, going so far as to lead protests against him on foreign soil. But his latest move—cozying up with President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja—has left his critics seething.

In what can only be described as a stunning about-face, Reno Omokri shared a photo on Facebook showing himself seated next to Tinubu, all smiles, hands locked in a firm handshake, a picture that spoke volumes.

Reno Omokri captioned the photo;

“The Omoluabi ethos: When we fight, we fight not to death. If our opinions differ, the difference does not mean hatred.

“When we disagree on how to fix Nigeria, we disagree not to destroy Nigeria. May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria! May President Bola Ahmed Tinubu succeed”

The Independence Day homage sent shockwaves through political circles, especially among those who had once celebrated Reno’s relentless takedowns of Tinubu.

For Verydarkman, this moment was the final straw. The social crusader didn’t hesitate to fire back, taking to his platform in a fiery and impassioned response.

In a blistering post, Verydarkman, in new clip, expressed his sheer disbelief at Reno’s newfound camaraderie with Tinubu, calling out the glaring hypocrisy of his actions.

He couldn’t fathom how Reno had so effortlessly transitioned from publicly dragging Tinubu through the mud to now sitting comfortably with him, grinning as though the past never happened.

To remind everyone of Reno’s once-unyielding stance, VDM unearthed an old video of Reno leading an anti-Tinubu protest in London. In the video, Reno’s attacks were brutal and unfiltered—he referred to Tinubu in the most derogatory terms, calling out his character and leadership with fiery passion.

In a scathing critique, Verydarkman tore into Reno’s sudden U-turn, declaring that the PDP supporter had lost whatever shred of integrity he had left.
