Former Big Brother Naija season 9 housemate Shaun Okojie has addressed rumors surrounding his relationship with fellow housemate Victoria.
The pair, known as Shatoria, had sparked speculation about their romantic involvement before entering the show.
However, Shaun has now clarified that they were merely friends and never dated.
During a recent X Space discussion, Shaun explained that Victoria is not his ideal match and that their connection was purely platonic.
He emphasized that they never had a romantic relationship and therefore did not break each other’s hearts.
“Victoria is not my preference; I and Victoria are just friends. I’ve not broken Victoria’s heart, and she has never broken my heart,” he said.
Shaun is currently in a relationship with Wanni whom he met on the show.
Shaun in one of his media rounds, revealed that his relationship with Wanni is a natural connection not strategy.
Shaun acknowledged the presence of multiple relationships in the house but emphasized that his bond with Wanni was natural and developed organically.
“There were many ships in the house. I realized that if anybody’s ship is benefiting them, I don’t think I would have known if it would have been a good strategy or not.
“I already came with a girl (Victoria). The easiest strategy would have already been to stick with Victoria romantically but that didn’t happen, I think Wanni and I had a more natural connection that we developed in the house.”
Shaun also revealed why Wanni deserves to win N100m grand prize.
Shaun highlighted Wanni’s dynamic representation of herself on the show, showcasing various aspects of her personality.
He emphasized that Wanni has demonstrated a range of emotions and traits, making her a well-rounded and relatable contestant.
