- On the day of the electrifying Warri Again concert, the royal palace of the Olu of Warri became the epicenter of star power as some of the biggest names in entertainment paid a ceremonial visit to His Excellency.
- Davido, Phyno, AY, and Chiefpriest, along with a constellation of other celebrities, made their way to the palace, not only to show respect but to immerse themselves in the rich traditions that the royal throne represents.
- The stars took time to capture the moment, not just with selfies but with a sense of reverence, as they stood beside a figure whose presence symbolizes the continuity of leadership and heritage.
Nigerian music icons David Adeleke, better known as Davido, and Chibuzor Azubuike, aka Phyno, alongside other top celebrities, graced the majestic palace of the Olu of Warri on Saturday.
Their visit wasn’t just a routine stop—it was a symbolic gesture that merged the worlds of modern entertainment and ancestral royalty, a fusion that felt as deep as it was powerful.
They were in Warri for the much-anticipated “Warri AGAIN” event, orchestrated by former Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick. But this moment carried far more weight than the spectacle that awaited the concertgoers later that night.
Joining Davido and Phyno was the ever-popular comedian Ayodeji Makun, known as AY Makun, and nightlife mogul Cubana Chief Priest. These celebrities, whose names are synonymous with luxury, influence, and high life, paid homage to the revered Olu of Warri in a scene that transcended mere star power.
Videos and photos of their visit quickly spread across social media, courtesy of Cubana Chief Priest’s Instagram feed, where the worlds of pop culture and royalty collided in the most spectacular fashion.

However, the story behind their visit was far more layered than the smiles and selfies captured on camera. The “Warri AGAIN” event, scheduled for Saturday night, had been at the center of a bitter dispute between Davido and Pinnick just months earlier.
In October 2023, tensions erupted when Pinnick publicly called out Davido, accusing him of breaching his contract by failing to perform at the 19th edition of the concert.
Despite having been paid his full performance fees, Davido’s absence sent ripples through the entertainment industry, and Pinnick’s grievances played out in a very public forum.
Yet, in a dramatic turn of events, Davido and Pinnick set aside their differences in March 2024, choosing to resolve their conflict privately.
