Nollywood actress, Ini Dima-Okojie has shared that her fibroids have began to shrink in size after the commencement of her holistic journey.
Ini Dima-Okojie announced this positive update on her TikTok account, mentioning that a recent ultrasound showed a decrease in size since her last check-up.
This comes after she revealed she is battling fibroids despite having them removed in a successful surgery in 2021.
In a fresh update, Ini Dima-Okojie said:
“I made some lifestyle changes since I found out that the fibroids are back. So I went to the hospital recently to do an ultrasound scan and the fibroids are shrinking, so we’re doing something right; something is working.”
In July 2024, Okojie shared that her fibroids came back after three years of surgery to remove them. In a video she posted, she talked to her followers about the difficulties she was experiencing and her future plans.
She explained, “I want to share something important with you today. If you’ve been following me, you would probably know that before the end of 2020, I had a myomectomy, which is an evasive surgery to take out fibroids. The surgery was successful; my doctor removed every single fibroid and I healed well. It’s been 3 years since the surgery and unfortunately, the fibroids are back.”
The actress regularly updated her fans about her natural method for reducing fibroids, as she did not want to have surgery again.
