In other news, Portable joined the global discussion surrounding US music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest.

Notably, the FBI’s had discovery of 1000 bottles of baby oil and lubricants in Diddy’s home. Diddy was charged charged with trafficking, racketeering, and more.

Portable took to Instagram to share his thoughts in a freestyle video, addressing the scandal and throwing shade at musicians linked with Diddy.

He questioned whether attending Diddy’s parties guaranteed success, specifically asking if those linked to Diddy could afford luxury items like Ferraris without compromising themselves.

Portable’s lyrics implied that some musicians may have compromised their values or morals to achieve success with Diddy’s influence. He also sang about a musician who didn’t get a Grammy because he refused to do ‘Diddy to Diddy’. He ended his song by warning the public to beware of Diddy’s parties.

Translating from Yoruba, Portable said:

“He didn’t do Diddy to Diddy is why he didn’t get a Grammy. Lover man getting to marry. Are you single and searching? Don’t go to Diddy party. Is it Diddy to Diddy you used to collect a Ferrari? Or is it your money you used to buy a Ferrari? Or you collected it by doing Diddy to Diddy? Can you act like Beyonce, do you have a backside like hers? Diddy to Diddy is how people get to own Ferraris. He didn’t do Diddy to Diddy, that’s why he doesn’t have a Grammy. Is it your money you used to buy a Ferrari or you shut out your backside to get a Ferrari? Don’t go to Diddy party, come to my party.”
