Tensions between Nelly and Shaun have been brewing since their time in the BBNaija house, where their relationship faced strain.
Shaun and his girlfriend had previously alleged that Nelly’s buttocks were “fake,” a comment that fueled the rift between them.
Shaun, however, defended his stance by claiming that Nelly’s boyfriend, Sooj, initially made remarks about his girlfriend’s figure.
Despite Shaun’s attempts to justify his actions, Nelly maintained a cold demeanor towards him.
In an interview with Naija FM, she disclosed that Shaun tried to mend their relationship after her eviction, but she was not interested.
“After the eviction, Shaun was chasing me around like a fowl; that we should speak. I told him there’s no need for this conversation; it’s your opinion of me, and it’s valid,” she said.
During the show, Shaun revealed that he shifted his attention to fellow housemate Wanni, explaining that Nelly never made the first move.
Wanni also accused Nelly of flirting with Shaun even while he was in a relationship with her.
