Responding to those who have called her “ugly,” Uju took to social media to defend herself and challenge the idea of beauty standards.
In her post, Uju advised her critics to compare her looks with those of Burna Boy, his mother, and his sister, urging them to take a close look at all of them.
Uju’s remarks were aimed at shutting down those who had been judging her physical appearance after she called out Burna Boy.
She encouraged her critics to reflect on their appearance before passing judgment on others.
She wrote:
“To those of you calling me ugly, take a picture of Burna Boy, his mother, his sister, and then a picture of me. Zoom in closely and you’ll realize none of us is more beautiful or uglier than the other – we all look different in our own way.
