Actress Faithia Williams has reflected on the impact her stepdaughter Zeenat’s death has had on her while expressing gratitude to those who offered their support during the difficult time.
Faithia who was once married to actor Saidi Balogun joined in mourning Zeenat, the daughter from his first marriage to Sherifat Balogun.
Saidi initially shared a sombre post on Instagram on October 5, featuring an image of a candle surrounded by flowers along with heartbroken emojis symbolising his grief.
The actor was preparing for the second performance of his stage play Asiyanbi: Ti Oluwa Nile at Terra Kulture, Lagos when he received the tragic news of his daughter’s death.
In a recent update, Faithia took to her Instagram page on Monday, reflecting on the emotional toll of the loss.
She offered prayers for peace and strength while thanking everyone who reached out to support her.
Her message read:
“This past week has been a time of reflection and prayer following the sad loss of someone dear to me. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un
I want to sincerely thank everyone who reached out, checked on me, and kept me in their prayers during this difficult period. Your support has been a great source of strength, and I am truly grateful.
