Chief Dr. Deji Adeleke, the billionaire businessman and father of Nigerian music star Davido, recently opened up on the significant obstacles he encountered while building his $2 billion power plant.

Speaking at a conference in Maryland, USA, Adeleke detailed the hurdles he faced and the attempt by a government official to derail the project.

Deji Adeleke, who is also the President of Adeleke University and CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited, shared that a high-ranking official made efforts to halt the power plant’s construction.

Though he refrained from disclosing the identity of the individual, he noted that the person’s actions were deliberately aimed at preventing the project’s success.

Despite the difficulties, Deji Adeleke expressed his gratitude, crediting divine intervention for the project’s eventual success.

“God stepped in,” he said, attributing the breakthrough to divine providence that helped overcome the obstacles in the way.

In other news, Adedeji Adeleke, a well-known Nigerian billionaire, made headlines at the SDA General Conference Annual Council 2024, held in Silver Spring, Maryland, from October 10th to 16th.

He shared exciting news about his efforts to improve Nigeria’s electricity sector, captivating everyone in attendance.

In his speech, Deji Adeleke highlighted the important work he is doing to enhance Nigeria’s power infrastructure, focusing on how private investments can help solve the country’s ongoing energy issues.

His son, the famous singer Davido, took to social media on October 15th to share a video of his father’s speech, proudly showing his father in the spotlight.
