People we call ogbanje are spiritually gifted – Actor Yul Edochie

Yul Edochie Speaks on Understanding The Spiritual Gift of Ogbanje

Actor Yul Edochie has shared his insights on the concept of Ogbanje, highlighting the spiritual gifts and potential of individuals who possess this unique ability.

According to Yul Edochie, many people labeled as Ogbanje are actually spiritually gifted, but often struggle to embrace their true nature due to societal pressures, religious beliefs, and fear of judgment.

Yul emphasized that the purpose of having spiritual gifts is to utilize them for the betterment of humanity. However, when individuals deny or suppress their gifts, their lives can become disoriented and unfulfilled.

He encouraged those who identify as Ogbanje to explore their true selves, embrace their spiritual essence, and recognize the significance of their existence.

In his words:

Many people we call ‘Ogbanje’ are people who are spiritually gifted. And the essence of having such spiritual gift is to use it to help humanity. But because of ignorance, religion & the fear of what people will say, they keep trying to run away from who they are and by doing so their lives become messed up. Dig deep, find your true self and embrace it and you’ll realize the essence of your existence and live a fulfilled life. YUL EDOCHIE.”

Yul Edochie had also earlier advised his followers to stop burning shrines, stating that deities are not evil .

Yul Edochie highlighted the importance of embracing tradition and culture, stating that it serves as a foundation for liberation from any form of enslavement.

He wrote:

Deities are not evil; Nigerians should desist from burning shrines and traditional deities.

“It was the white man that convinced people to believe their traditions are evil; the ploy was to make us abandon our ways and embrace theirs so as to make slavery easy.

“Nigerians need to wake up and start embracing their traditions and culture; many deities acknowledge God Almighty.

Burning them could bring perpetual trouble. If you don’t understand something, leave it. If it is not disturbing you, don’t disturb it”.
