Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner Kellyrae has expressed his concerns about the numerous requests for financial assistance he has been receiving from family and friends.
In a recent interview with media personality Hero Daniels, Kellyrae shared that since he publicly stated that he gave his wife Kassia N55 million from his prize money, he has been inundated with requests for financial help.
Kellyrae emphasized that he is not yet in a stable financial position to fulfill these requests, citing the high cost of living and expenses.
He pleaded with those asking for financial favors to allow him time to settle and prioritize his own needs.
“I was receiving calls people close to us after I said I gave Kassia N55 million and they were asking for their own share of my prize money,” he said.
“I will like to say to everyone, I’m not a rich man yet please. The money is big but things are expensive. Even if it’s egg I want to buy, how many crates of eggs will I buy? Please allow a brother to settle.”
In another story, Kellyrae opens up on how he met his wife Kassia .
During an interview with Arise TV, Kellyrae explained that his initial connection to Kassia came through her elder sister, who was his colleague during their movie production days. One of the film projects they worked on used Kassia’s house as a shooting location.
It was there that Kellyrae first met Kassia and immediately felt attracted to her. He recalled asking for her number, and what began as a casual friendship gradually blossomed into a romantic relationship about a year later.
