“I’m not an activist, I’m social media police” – Verydarkman clarifies as he steps out in police uniform

Verydarkman spotted in police uniform, clarifies his role as ‘online police'

Famous controversial critic Verydarkman has taken to social media to clarify his role amid growing speculation about him being an activist.

In a recent video, he donned a police uniform featuring a custom “VDM” tag and described his mission as that of an “online police” rather than a traditional activist.

In his explanation, Verydarkman stated that his responsibilities align more closely with those of the Nigeria Police Force, but an online version.

According to him, he dedicated his efforts to addressing various forms of exploitation, specifically targeting vendors and individuals accused of unfair practices.

Emphasizing his commitment to transparency and fairness, Verydarkman asserted that he bases his actions on solid evidence, only bringing cases to public attention when sufficient proof is available.

In the video, he also expressed gratitude to the Nigeria Police Force for their ongoing battle against corruption in the country.

Verydarkman called on fellow Nigerians to unite in their efforts to make Nigeria a better place.

“CSP VDM of the online division also shoutout to the Nigeria Police Force for their tireless efforts in fighting corruption in Nigeria, and I implore others to join hands together in making Nigeria a better place,” his video’s caption read.
