Big Brother Naija’s Uriel Oputa has opened up about her experience caring for her mother who lives with dementia.

In a recent Instagram story, she shared her thoughts on the challenges and rewards of caregiving.

Uriel described the experience as multifaceted, stating that it is both heartbreaking and rewarding.

She emphasized that each day brings new challenges and emotions, but love remains a constant source of strength and comfort.

She wrote:

Caring for someone with dementia – especially when that person is my mother – is the most challenging, heartbreaking, and rewarding experience. Each day brings new hurdles and deep emotions, yet we face them with love. In the end, love becomes both our strength and our solace”.

In another story, Uriel Oputa sends strong message to people questioning her marital status.

She took to social media to respond to these critics, stating that she does not feel pressured by her family or the public, as she does not see marriage as an accomplishment.

Uriel explained that she does not need social media to validate her marital status. She further stated that if she were to be married, she wouldn’t even spill the beans online.

In her post, she wrote:
