Nigerian artist Yemi Alade has recently discussed her vision of the ideal man, emphasizing a preference for humor without crossing into silliness.

In a conversation with VJ Adams, Yemi Alade detailed the qualities she finds appealing in a man.

When asked about the first physical traits she notices in a man, she mentioned several features.

She expressed her appreciation for beards and highlighted the significance of a man’s eyes and overall height.

VJ Adams asked: “What are the physical qualities you notice first in a man?”

Yemi Alade replied, “I think beards are good. It would be definitely the eyes, the composure, the height and then eventually what comes out of that mouth. Funny is good but not a clown. There’s a tiny line there.”

She went on to describe the character traits she values, stating her preference for modesty over boastfulness. “I would say someone who is modest. There isn’t too much of braggadociousness but there’s also the let them know vibe. I don’t like people that brag,” Alade concluded.

Yemi Alade had earlier urged her fans to Focus on her music and not on her relationship.

The 35-year-old songstress emphasized her desire for the public to concentrate only on her music rather than her relationship status.

“I would like people to continue to focus on the things that I am willing to share with them, which is the music,” Alade said firmly during the interview when quizzed about her current relationship status.

Yemi Alade, also delved into the challenges of navigating the ever-evolving music industry.

She said:

“The music industry has always been tough, even before I showed any interest in it,” she said.

“However, it is said that ‘tough times never last but tough people do.’ I believe that the strongest will always survive.”
