“By the time I’m done with Burna Boy, he’d beg for my acct. no to send me N12M” – Speed Darlington

Speed Darlington promises to make life difficult for Burna Boy

Speed Darlington, a Nigerian rapper, is back in the headlines for the wrong reasons. Despite his recent run-in with the law, he’s still gunning for Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy.

The drama started when Burna Boy filed a petition against Speed Darlington for alleged cyberstalking, leading to his detention by the IRT team in Abuja.

Speed Darlington’s mother even stepped in, accusing Burna Boy and his team of being behind her son’s arrest and pleading with the singer to release him. However, after spending three days in detention, Speed Darlington was released on bail.

Following his release, Speed Darlington has refused to be silenced. In an Instagram live session, Speed Darlington threatened to deal with Burna Boy, claiming the singer would be begging for his account number once he’s done with him.

It’s worth noting that this beef between the 2 singers started when Speed Darlington questioned Burna Boy’s 2021 Grammy win for his album “Twice as Tall”. The rapper jokingly suggested that Burna Boy’s win was influenced by external factors

Speed Darlington had linked Burna Boy’s win to his close relationship with P. Diddy. He went on to insinuate that Diddy had romantic dealings with Burna Boy.

In another report, Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy has shared words of advice to his fans, on how to tackle their opponents successfully.

Taking to his Instagram story to share a photo of himself smiling with his crew, Burna Boy said the streets are no longer what they used to be and old rules no longer apply.

The Grammy Award winning superstar singer stated that the way he sees things, everyone is now a civilian and on the same level.

The ‘Like To Party’ singer added that special privileges shouldn’t be given to anyone anymore and advised people to sue their opponents and take their money. Burna Boy wrote:

“The streets ain’t what it used to be. The old rules no longer apply. The way I see it, Everybody is a civilian now.

No more sliding. Just sue your opps to court and take the money”.
