Nigerian superstar Disc Jockey, philanthropist, and singer Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has hinted at quitting her job.
In a statement on her official account on the microblogging platform, X, DJ Cuppy explained that dJing is her passion but this year she has been feeling she is meant to level up and make a bigger impact.
DJ Cuppy wrote:
“DJing is my passion, but tbh this year has felt like a whole new experience, like I’m meant to level up and make a bigger impact.. Only God knows what’s next.”
Taking to the comment section, a fan of the billionaire’s heiress urged her to start djing again, adding that he dislikes the new her.
“Start DJing again. I have missed your vibes on IG. I don’t like the new you at all,” he wrote.
DJ Cuppy replied, “I don’t like the old me at all.”
The music star recently released a gospel mixtape after she got baptised earlier this year.
She claimed she received divine direction for the mixtape.
Recall that in September WITHIN NIGERIA reported that DJ Cuppy became the first Nigerian to host an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Cuppy moderated the Youth Action Day at this year’s UNGA, themed “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day.
She also delivered a musical performance after her keynote session.
DJ Cuppy’s session became the largest youth gathering in UN Headquarters history.
