My vision is different from that of somebody else, Psquare no longer exist – Rudeboy affirms in new interview

Rudeboy avowed that his vision doesn't align with that of his brother.

In a recent interview with on-air personality Cheche Smith on Wazobia FM, Paul Okoye popularly known as Rudeboy opened up about his individual career focus, marking a definitive shift from his past as one-half of the iconic duo, P-Square, with his twin brother, Peter Okoye.

He emphasized that while music initially united them, his creative vision has diverged from his brother’s. “This is the same voice, same me,” he stated, adding that he no longer hides his intentions. “I am here for Rudeboy. If you bring up P-Square, I’ll tell you there’s nothing like that—no P-Square for now.”

Rudeboy acknowledged that fans may have felt a sense of disappointment as he shifted his energy back to P-Square temporarily last year but clarified that his solo journey as “Rudeboy” is now his primary focus.

He admitted feeling as though he “wasted” some time by not advancing his personal brand sooner. However, he assured fans that he’s dedicated to delivering new music and growing the Rudeboy brand moving forward.

Rudeboy further expressed appreciation for his fans’ patience.

We want to watch your other brother musical videos , listen to his song, sweet or not, we want to support whatever business he brings on. He’s is the one God gave the marketing, free advertisement that your group needs. If you part with him, the rest might just be noise.”
