Nigerian TikTok sensation Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has addressed rumors surrounding the earnings from his recent TikTok live session with music star Davido.
Following speculation that the duo made $400,000 (approximately N658 million) from lion gifts and other contributions during the stream, Peller took to social media to clarify the situation.
In a live broadcast on his TikTok account, Peller firmly debunked the claims of earning $400,000, revealing that the actual amount received from viewers during the session was around 300,000 coins, equivalent to approximately N1.5 million.
He urged fans and followers to stop spreading misinformation regarding their earnings. During the live session, Peller shared that while Davido suggested they share the earnings, he decided to let the person in charge of the exchange keep the money for himself.
He expressed that the opportunity to connect with Davido was more valuable to him than any financial gain.
“My meeting with Davido is a great achievement, not about the money. I don’t need the money; I only need the recognition,” Peller said.
Following the TikTok broadcast, Peller reiterated his message on X (formerly Twitter), urging fans to focus on the positive vibes and music that characterized their live interaction.
