- Deeone gives VeryDarkMan a week ultimatum to update the public about the money donated to his NGO.
- VeryDarkMan had solicited money weeks ago to fund his new NGO focused on improving education in Nigeria.
Nigerian comedian Deeone has issued a public call for accountability regarding donations made to VeryDarkMan’s NGO.
It is worth noting that Verydarkman launched the project a few weeks ago.
The initiative, which focuses on improving the lives and educational experiences of secondary school students, has attracted widespread attention, with prominent figures like music producer Don Jazzy contributing significantly.
The NGO received a huge amount of public donations weeks the account was created.
Verydarkman’s commitment to the cause led to the rapid growth of his NGO, inspiring thousands of people to rally behind the initiative.
Despite facing criticism and backlash online, Verydarkman emphasized his dedication to the success of the project.
He assured his followers that his primary focus remains on the impact the initiative will have, and he urged them to continue supporting the cause.
However, in a recent video on Instagram, Deeone questioned the lack of updates on the organization’s activities.
He demanded transparency and gave VeryDarkMan an ultimatum to provide a public update on the NGO’s progress. He emphasized that the donated funds are for public use, not personal gain.
He also suggested that some celebrities may be hesitant to speak out due to personal connections with VeryDarkMan.
“VeryDarkMan I gave you one week to round up everything you are doing about the NGO and get back to Nigerians just the same way you came out to beg for money. That money is not for personal use.
“Verydarkman needs to be held accountable. The reason many celebrities are quiet is because he has their secrets. He begged publicly for the donation and now wants to live a private life,” he said.
