Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star Angel Smith has hinted that her relationship with fellow housemate Soma might be over following serious allegations made against him.
The reality star shared a cryptic post on her X handle (formerly Twitter), leaving fans speculating about the status of their relationship.
The post came shortly after Soma’s ex-girlfriend, Hilda Dirisu, accused him of physical abuse and claimed that he had been attempting to rekindle their relationship despite his involvement with Angel.
In the wake of these accusations, Angel seemed to express her feelings of heartbreak and disappointment in love.
On her X account, Angel wrote:
“It is Angel always, I have already accepted that the only time I will be loved is when I actually die.”
The message appeared to reflect her disillusionment with relationships, though she did not directly address the allegations against Soma.
This development comes just months after a viral video in which BBNaija All-Stars winner Ilebaye shared the news that Angel and Soma were planning to get married in January next year. It remains unclear whether the wedding will proceed as originally planned.
Angel has been through a number of high-profile relationships since her time on Big Brother Naija.
In 2021, during the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season, she dated fellow housemate Sunday Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross, but their relationship ended shortly after the show.
