Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has reflected on a challenging chapter in her life, revealing the extent of her financial support for her former partner.
In a recent Instagram post, Sarah Martins recounted a time in which which she gave 50% of her salary to her ex-boyfriend for a duration of six months.
Sarah stated that during this time, she was unaware that her financial contributions were being used to support another woman’s business.
She revealed that this experience left a lasting impact on her perspective towards relationships and has made her more cautious about opening her heart to others.
She also admitted to being someone who shows deep affection for those she loves, but this experience has caused her to reassess how she approaches love and financial contributions in future relationships.
She wrote:
“There was a time I gave my ex 50% of my monthly salary for 6 months and the werey was giving the money to another woman🤦🏻♀️”.
“He even funded her business from my sweat and the lady married someone else months after he finished setting up her business 😂”.

Her revelation came after Veekee James opened up on how her Ex-boyfriend used her, broke her heart and dumped her.
Veekee revealed that she had established a unisex salon to support her ex and even handed over the profits to him, believing it would strengthen their relationship.
Veekee also shared how she had rented and furnished his apartment, only to discover that he was inviting other women to the house.
